At PCIS we represent our clients, not an insurance carrier. Our clients view us as their employee benefits manager and carrier liaison. PCIS can be utilized as a benefits information source and as a resource to assist in resolving benefits issues and problems.
Our normal approach with a new client is to evaluate their existing employee benefits plan and with the new client’s input, customize a new employee benefits plan. We will make every effort to assure the benefits plan meets the budget criteria and desires of the new client. Additionally, our aim is to develop a benefits plan that will improve employee recruitment & retention for the company and save on tax dollars for employer & employee with the Section 125 Plan.
In the process of preparing benefit quotes, we evaluate all available carriers to determine which carriers have the best plan coverage and rates to meet the needs of the client.
When all benefit plans have been selected, we conduct an on-site enrollment including benefits communication with all employees present at the enrollment. This insures every employee understands and appreciates the company sponsored benefits program. This process is repeated during each annual open enrollment. PCIS assists the company’s plan administrator or HR personnel with employee benefits when new employees are hired throughout the year. If desired, PCIS can assist in explaining & implementing employee insurance premium deductions with the company’s payroll services provider.
